Your Woman is a great song. I heard it a couple of years ago and really liked it, but i never found out what it was called, then yesterday, it was on the radio. I finally found the song! It’s so good! Great website too

I bought the Your Woman single when it came out and I thought the b-side (documentary score) was very very good. Both songs were great. Several years later I decided to see what else was out there and picked up the Peek and Poke album. I think your style and your attitude and genuine enthusiam for music shows in your songs and I feel fortunate to be able to hear music such as yours. I am an Iranian-American who came to America before I was a teenager and I identify with what you express in your music. I like that your music is thought-provoking, while maintaining a positive attitude and passion for the future. I am beginning to try to produce my own music and you are an inspiration. Keep up the good work; I look forward to your next album. If you ever tour America, I’ll be there and I’ll drag my friends along too.

wow! i was soooo into ‘your woman’ back in the day when it first came out. what a classic song. anyways, now i’m in college and i was off procrastinating and i pulled out my cds and found “women in technology”, which i haven’t listened to in years. i popped it in, and i realized that i love it even more now than i did back then.
i just wanted to say great job! you rock!

Hello Jioti,
Me and my best friend Nancy always talk about what “Your Woman” can mean. Thank you for making a song like that, and others of course. She always tried to figure out why “Whitetown?” Was does that name mean? Now that we are learning about new social theories and about social class pyramids and white privilege in America I think we have an idea. I think we (minorities) all feel like we live in “whitetown” in America.
Thank you,
Dina R.

It could have been really cool, if you made “Your Woman(Man)” like this.
Just tell me what you’ve got to say to me,
I’ve been waiting for so long to hear the truth,
It comes as no surprise at all you see,
So cut the crap and tell me that we’re through.
Now I know your heart, I know your mind,
You don’t even know you’re beening unkind,
So much for all your high brow Marxist ways,
Just use me up and then you walk away.
Girl, you can’t play me that way.
Well I guess what you say is true,
I could never be the right kind of boy for you,
I could never be your man.
When I saw my best friend yesterday,
He said he never liked you from the start,
Well me, I wish that I could claim the same,
But you always knew you held my heart.
You’re such a charming, handsome woman,
Now I think I finally understand,
Is it in your genes?, I don’t know,
But I’ll soon find out, that’s for sure,
Why did you play me this way?
Well I guess what you say is true -
I could never be the right kind of boy for you!
Well I guess what they say is true,
I could never spend my life with a woman like you

I know I am not too original writing down the following claim but… I love “Your Woman”. I would like to hear more songs from you, but at present, I must acknowledge that “Your Woman” has got a hidden capacity of atraction. Unfourtenatly, nowadays I feel very down because of several reasons related with my family, my work and my future, and I do not know why, but I listen “Your Woman” several times a day. Un fuerte saludo desde España
