So I was busy reminding myself why I’m working on a CompSci degree at my shit job at RadioShack, when “Your Woman” comes on over the sattelite radio. This was the first time I had heard that song in something like 8 years, and I was a wee lad of 12 during that initial exposure. Immediately, I recognized it as a kick ass tune, and recalled taping it off the radio as an impecunious squirt. Back home, and with a fresh mp3 via gtk-gnutella, I stumble upon this website. “Ah, the dude’s still kickin’, eh? Schweet.” I’m currently awaiting the arrival of my copy of WIT in the mail, and looking forward to the rest WT has to offer. Well done, chap.

It is amazing SOMETIMES what people can do with something called music. Your Woman, was the first theme i listened of you it was probably like six years ago, now i accidentally i hit your website and found out that there was a lot better to listen to besides -Your Woman-. December, great song, sadly the demo last just 30 seconds, Im Alone probably is one of those songs once you listen it remains the whole day as an inner voice,…well…something like that.

Hello
I work for an online radio station and have my own little indie show called ‘The indiePendent On Sunday’ (yes, I know - I was drunk when I thought f that one!!!) and was just putting the playlist together for next weekends show when I found my copy of ‘Your Woman’ and thought ‘Well, why not!’. As always on the webpage for the show I put links to the artists own websites so I’m thrilled to come across this website and see that ‘White Town’ is still going strong! From the clips I’ve heard, the music is still first class as well… I don’t suppose you would mind if I played some of your more recent tracks on my show??? Please do get in touch!

Hey. I just came here to find the lyrics for “Your Woman” (because I was confused as to the POV from which the song was written) and I started reading your other songs, which consequently got be crying my eyes out. I just had to let you know, you put in words exactly how I feel right now. Especially with the song “White Town” and the one after it… It’s just that after a brilliant relationship, I had to leave my boyfriend of 2 months back in Spain (he’s british but lives there) but we were supposed to keep in touch and he was supposed to come see me and things were just wonderful until about a month ago when he started ignoring me. And it’s just been killing me because it seems like he’s throwing it all away, and I thought you’d like to know that your songs really touched me. I hope you never get them played on the radio again so that they won’t become overkill. Thank you.
(sorry for the sob story)

This must make me the 11-teenth person to make a post on “Your Woman”, I hadn’t heard the song in over 5 years(my stepmom introduced me to the song…) My roomate found the song and its inspired a renewed vigor in me. Just one thing-THE SONG SOUNDS TOTALLY DIFFERENT!! Hearing it for the first time back in 1998, it sounded more hardcore, a song I used numerous times to get psyched before a game(please dont ask why), but now it sounds kinda sob-storyish…maybe I’m wrong here????

Hello Malcolm, There are smth about ‘Your woman’ song in almost comment here , and this one will not be exeption
it’s really great! I’ve heart it few year ago, find over net, and still listening (by the way - right now it in my player). I’m not an English teacher like person few post down (I live in Russia) but I like words too. Masterpiece… But, I think the man who wrote this track and “white town” prj. are not one hit wonder - proubably from showbusiness’s side it looks like that - labels come and gone, but song like that will live very long, and people will show it to they children, and they to they children like Beatles, CHaikowsky, Byron, Dostoevsky etc. it’s classic! Life is continue and as for me - I’ll wait more great tracks from White town and show all downloaded songs to my friends. All the best from Russia!

I would like to say that ‘women in technology” is the best record I have ever heard. I own over 250 cds ranging from the early 70’s to the modern time and only 2 of them rain supreme amongst all music. Women in technology being one of them, and gorillaz self titled being the other.. Your music speaks to me in a way that few can ever reach. Every single song is a unique blend of the most innovative sounds I’ve ever heard. I am a huge fan and regret that you will probably will never make it to america for a tour and that I will never make it to england. sigh. keep up the amazing work and I love your essays.

Hey,
My name is Shane Nancarrow, I am currently a Producer and own an Event Management/Artist Manmagement company in Australia.
I have been working on a remix of your song your woman for some time now and is in the final stages of being complete.
It is more modern electro based than pop and more DJ friendly version, as I am a DJ and found it hard to work the original into my mixed set.
I think there would be an incredibly huge market still for this song even in Australia alone, as was wondering if you would ever consider workin with anyone on a remix??
If so please do not hesitate to contact me so we can talk further.
Thanks and Kind Regards,
Shane Nancarrow

‘Your Woman’ is my favourite tune of all time and of course like most visitors here it’s pretty much the only track of your work I have sampled.
I bought the single when it was released and adopted it as my theme tune from then on. I guess what it’s about is different for everyone, in spite of your explanation in the FAQ section.
The song doesn’t sound dated at all and continues to inspire, remind, and elevate me.
So I found your website today and just thought I’d say well done and thank you for such an important piece of my music catalogue.
Now to Amazon I must visit to get a copy of what I have missed.
