Hey there, just wanted to say that I heard Your Woman many years ago and thought it was a brilliant track, but totally forgot about it!
Then about a year+ ago I heard the song in a club (Was rather drunk sodidn’t ask what song it was) and I remember thinking “Holy hell that song is still amazing!”
Then not long after that, I went in search for the name of the song and I had no luck whatsoever, so about a month ago I posted a clippet of another song that had the same start of this and someone got it straight away! Damn I was happy! Still loving it.
(P.S, does anyone know where I can get a karaoke version of this? Preferably in .wav or .wmv format .
Thanks,
Craig.

So where the hell was your woman in the top 50 one hit wonders on channel 4 eh?!?!?!?!
I know I only know the one song but (and this is where I get gushy) finding out that you were an asian bloke writing great synthpop was a real inspiration to the music I’ve made since. All I can say is cheers and I can’t wait to hear the new stuff.

I just re-read a posting I wrote. I think its funny my number would be 666 especially since my birthday is on Halloween. I love the irony and your music. Cant wait to hear your new album. Can you do something about the “Your woman” video.

hi, i was at a gig about a month ago, (Robots in Disguise) and your song, Your Woman, was played about 5 minutes before the band came out. Me and my friend started having a chat about it, and for some reason I seemed to remember that you used to live somewhere near Aycliffe in Co. Durham. is that right?

Hi!
I am a student and i love listening daily to the hits on the radio. Sometimes I find in the programs of some stations here in Italy your popular hit “your woman”; every time I listen to it, I find it more and more exciting; its rhythm, the harmony between the percussions, the melody and your voice make it one of the most beautiful songs ever published. I hope the songs of your next album will reach the top positions of the charts soon…

Hey there! I love “Your woman” and am desperately trying to find the video. Do you know where I can find a copy? I can’t get it out of my mind!

So happy to hear you’ve got another album on the way!
Everytime I play Women in Technology, people ask who they’re listening to. One of my favorite cds from college. That and Magnetic Fields comprised most of what I listened to on the long snowy drive home for the weekends.

Hey Jyoti,
Heard the cover of “Your Woman” the other day and almost threw up a little; it’s not horrendous, exactly, but why mess with perfection? Heh. I’m glad I heard it, though, because it meant I did a google search and found this blog - I’m looking forward to catching up with what you’ve been doing.
Take care.

Hey,
I had to read more about you, so I did the internet search. I had nearly forgotten about “Your Woman” until I heard it today on the radio. I been looking for something to remix your track with ever since I found your album. Keep making music man. It drives my life too.

sad and maudlin, the looming of a school reunion got me to thinking about where you are now (nearly a smiths lyric).
still got the first white town single, bought from you on the street corner in sadler gate, in the bottom of the wardrobe.
be good to catch up….

Hey Jyoti, I’d just like to say hi and thanks for such a great track - nearly a decade on and still as fresh and awesome as it was at release.
Of course, i’m talking about “Your Woman”. Thanks for such a great timeless track! How about a 2006 re-release? Hey, it worked for Source!

I heard Your Woman yesterday for the first time in eight years. I was so excited to hear the title of the song and your band name. I had only heard it once before but I loved it and I had been looking for it ever since. I admit to being a Capitalist American, Texan no less, so I must say you would have been easier to find if you were more commercialised. Please don’t hate me for that comment. Just stating a fact. Thank you anyway.

White town or (I honestly dont know what to call you) I live in America and for one your album is no longer available in stores nor can i find the music video anywhere. I love the song Your Woman and I think for women it can also mean she is telling some loser that is not good enough for her to buzz off. Where can I find the music video? And where was I when this song was soo hot? Apparently it was even on TRL and I missed it!!!

Hello
I just dropped by cause last night i heard
youre woman on the radio and i had that strange exciting feeling
i completely forgot about that song and never heard it since then and nothing else from you either
which is a damn shame cause the song youre woman was the first song that i really personally liked
at the time 1997 i was about 14 so i was just developing my musical taste and kinda listend what my friends did but then youre woman came along
and even today I Love this song
So i am currently downloading the song youre woman
BUT i will go to the store to see if they can get hold of the Album
cause i want to support the people who make the music that makes me feel so good
and i thank you for that
im glad the radio remembered me so now i will try to keep track of what youre doing
And Thank You Again

So, what can I say? Especially, with my horrorable english… “white town” is a perfect song, with no doubt. A masterpiece! Firstly i`d heard it in 1997 or 1999 - i don`t remember exactly. Then i felt in love with one girl… Since that time I really love this song.
Now I try to download it from net (I already have the karaoke version). It isn`t too simply to get “Moman in technology” here in Ukraine, but i`ll try.
Sorry for my english & good wishes to author!
